Overview: This project will give you the opportunity to learn more about a psychological disorder of your choice and present what you have learned in the form of a Google Doc Slide Show or a Prezi Presentation.
Presentation Requirements: Research a psychological disorder of your choice. See list below. Include the following elements in your Slide Show. Share your work with dylan_dyer@engschools.net
1. Title slide including name of disorder, type of disorder, and student name and date 2. One introduction slide with a brief overview of psychological disorder 3. One-two slides explaining how disorder meets all or some of the behavior criteria:
Behavior Criteria: Unusualness, social deviance, emotional distress, maladaptive behavior, dangerousness, faulty perceptions and interpretations of reality.
Ask yourself if the disorder you are researching meet all or some of these behaviors.
4. Two-three slides that describe the disorder in detail. Explain the symptoms, behavior patterns, and personality characteristics 5. One-two slides explaining specific examples of this disorder. Examples might be famous or well-known cases, celebrities with disorder, etc. 6. One-two slides on the treatment methods for this disorder. Explain possible medications, therapy, and specific examples 7. One slide concluding your work, reflecting on what you learned about this disorder from your research 8. One "Work Cited" slide. This slide is where you cite/record the resources you used for your project. 9. Include images, graphics, charts, graphs or any other related material throughout your project when appropriate.
